Women & Children’s Shelter is Open!

You have helped make the opening of AWAKEN a reality for women and children in need – and for this – we thank you!

Pictured here is Aanika – read in her own words just what this has meant for her:

“I came here to AWAKEN on June 2nd. My children had been taken away from me by DHS due to my drug use. The people here at the Compassion Center and AWAKEN worked with me to help get my children back, and within 2 months of being here, I now have my children with me.

I am currently going through the Christian Recovery Program and am able to keep my children with me as I continue on towards recovery and a new life.”

If you know of someone who is ready to make a life change and just needs an opportunity where they can have safe shelter, child care, support, education, and recovery if needed – this is the place for them.
